Pearl & Kettle was created for people who miss the simple joy of sitting with a friend, not for perfect hosts or elaborate gatherings. Our goal is to make reconnecting feel easy and welcoming. A small table, a warm cup of tea, and good conversation are more than enough. In fact, a little imperfection often makes a visit feel even more comfortable.
Our first offering will be a cozy Gathering Box designed to help you reconnect with a friend over tea and conversation.
As Pearl & Kettle grows, we hope to introduce other thoughtful tools for connection including conversation prompts, simple gathering ideas, and a few gentle reminders that kindness and good manners still matter.
We’re building slowly and intentionally so everything we create feels meaningful and useful.
As Pearl & Kettle grows, Gathering Boxes may also be offered as part of a seasonal or monthly subscription, with each box featuring a different theme or “chapter” like a new cozy visit waiting to unfold.
Pearl & Kettle was created by Wendy Lou, who believes deeply in the simple power of gathering with friends, sharing conversation, and taking time for small rituals that bring people together.
After years of seeing how meaningful connection can shape our lives, she began Pearl & Kettle as a way to encourage people to slow down, invite someone over, and enjoy the warmth of a shared cup of tea.
It’s a small, thoughtfully built project and every message you receive will come from a real person who’s genuinely glad you’re here.
